Passionate supporters of the pop star are urging that a individual who breached a barricade and touched the performer during the recent Wicked: For Good premiere be arrested or removed from Singapore.

A circulating footage depicts the Australian man pushing past photographers and rushing toward Grande while the actors proceeded down a yellow carpet accompanied by supporters.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo quickly wrested the stunned actress away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being escorted out of the gathering by security officers.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "let go after being taken in", though official papers revealed that he was set to attend court on the following morning. It is unknown if he was formally accused.

History of Event Invasions

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Troll Most Hated", has crashed a performance. His Instagram feed contains recordings of him disturbing other high-profile occasions, including breaching the performance area at Katy Perry's Sydney performance in recently and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers concert in the area last December.

"Steps should be implemented applied against him as this is evidently a criminal offence," stated an Instagram user, in a message to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his actions.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" another Instagram user questioned.

Fans Show Disapproval Over Grande's Well-being

Numerous followers accused Mr Wen for "triggering past anxiety" Grande, who had discussed suffering from PTSD after a devastating incident at the finale of her May 2017 performance in Manchester, killing 22 people and wounding hundreds.

"Ariana has been through so many scary things... and at her Manchester concert and you thought it would be fun to jump the barricade?" said another comment on Instagram.

Several supporters also criticised guards at the Thursday event for not being vigilant enough; while different individuals demanded digital services to block Mr Wen's content.

Reaction and Event Details

In footage shared widely, Grande appeared startled when she was touched by the individual. Her co-stars Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed consoling her while Mr Wen was removed by guards.

Grande has remained silent on the incident, and the rest of the event continued without further issues.

Hundreds of fans had assembled in a crowd of emerald and rose at the Wicked: For Good international launch in a Singapore shopping center, including several who had waited for as long as many hours before it started.

The motion picture, to be released on the 21st of November, is the follow-up of a two-film adaptation of the acclaimed Broadway and West End production Wicked, which centers on the surprising friendship between two contrasting characters.

The show itself is a adaptation of the 1900 book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who portrays the good witch Glinda, was decked out in a light pink sequin dress at the event while Erivo, who plays the wicked witch, wore a elegant ensemble embroidered with roses.

They were joined by co-star Jeff Goldblum.

The initial film, Wicked, was the highest-grossing movie of the previous year in the UK, and received ten Academy Award nods, winning a pair for excellent wardrobe and set decoration.
